Welcome
Civil Air Patrol is the official Civilian Auxiliary of the US Air Force, with a long history beginning in 1941. Delaware is home to one of the original "Coastal Patrol" units, based in Rehoboth Beach. Today, the Delaware Wing of the Civil Air Patrol has units from Claymont to Georgetown, and a unit just over the border in Elkton, MD. As a federally-chartered organization, CAP has 3 primary missions as instructed by congress.

Commander's 2009 Goals

* Earn an overall EXCELLENT rating for the SAREVAL
* Earn an overall SUCCESSFUL rating for the Compliance Inspection with less than 10 FINDINGS total
* Diamond Flight Drill Team will win MER Cadet Competition
* Be #1 in the NATION for average flight hours per aircraft
* Grow to 440 members (at least 175 cadets)
* Overall Membership Retention > 70%
* Each Squadron with Cadets: 5 cadets earn milestone awards. 2 Cadets Wing-wide Achieve Spaatz Award
