Public Affairs Officer, Delaware Wing
The mission of the Civil Air Patrol Public Affairs (PA) program is to inform internal and external audiences and the general public about our local, state, and federal missions, and the activities and community services of the Civil Air Patrol in Delaware. In addition, Delaware Wing Public Affairs works to safeguard the image and assets of the corporation and strengthen relations with key audiences and customers, which enables the organization to grow.
Information is key to the success of the Civil Air Patrol. The Delaware Wing Public Affairs Officer is responsible for developing and maintaining the wing's media outreach, internal information and marketing/branding initiatives; as well as emergency communications, internet content, and social media; and training for PAO’s at the squadron level.
